The Obama Energy Policy
In lieu of off-shore drilling, Barack Obama has advised Americans to inflate their tires. Obama has consistently opposed off-shore drilling, drilling in ANWR, nuclear energy, etc. However, "inflate your tires" is his alternative.
This is the type of excellent, insightful policy expected from a presidential candidate with 143 days of experience.
John McCain: "We need oil drilling and we need it now offshore. We need it now. [Barack Obama] has consistently opposed it. He has opposed nuclear power. He has opposed reprocessing. He has opposed storage. The only thing I've heard him say is that we should inflate our tires. So he has no plan for addressing the energy challenges that we face. Subject: Obama's Visit
Hello everyone, As you know I am not a very political person.I just wanted to pass along that Senator Obama came to Bagram Afghanistan for about an hour on his visit to "The War Zone".
I wanted to share with you what happened.
He got off the plane and got into a bullet proof vehicle, got to the area to meet with the Major General (2 Star) who is the commander here at Bagram.
As the Soldiers where lined up to shake his hand he blew them off and didn't say a word as he went into the conference room to meet the General.
As he finished, the vehicles took him to the ClamShell (pretty much a big top tent that military personnel can play basketball or work out in with weights) so he could take his publicity pictures playing basketball.
He again shunned the opportunity to talk to Soldiers to thank them for their service.
So really he was just here to make a showing for the American's back home that he is their candidate for President.
I think that if you are going to make an effort to come all the way over here you would thank those that are providing the freedom that they are providing for you.
I swear we got more thanks from the NBA Basketball Players or the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders than from one of our own Senators, a guy who wants to be the President of the United States! I just don't understand how anyone would want him to be our Commander-and-Chief.
It was almost that he was scared to be around those that provide the freedom for him and our great country.
If this is blunt and to the point I am sorry but I wanted you all to know what kind of caliber of person he really is.

E pluribus unum is a motto found on the Great Seal of the United States.
It means "Out of Many, One".
It is on this basis that America was founded.
Many colonies or states emerge a single nation; many peoples, races, and ancestries emerge a single people and nation. The melting pot.
Throughout its history, immigrants to the United States have respected it for its greatness. They have cherished the freedom and prosperity it brought to them.
The English language has been the major cohesive bond that brings all Americans together. Regardless of their native tongue, the English language has ensured E pluribus unum.
Chinese, Italian, Polish, French, German. Each wave of immigrants throughout the centuries have kept their original language, but have learned English. This is one part that defines the "melting pot", and defines us as "Americans".

Barack Obama feels that not only should English NOT be the official language, but it is the American citizen's duty to learn, and teach our children, Spanish.

Should the U.S. government in the early 1900's have required that all American's learn German and Italian since they were the dominant immigrant language spoken?
Or should those immigrants, as they did, learn English?

Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama on Friday, June 13 rejected Republican rival John McCain's proposal for 10 joint town-hall appearances, offering instead to have just one on the July 4 holiday.
The McCain campaign said Obama's offer was to hold the single town hall on Independence Day — which likely would have resulted in less attention while Americans are on holiday. McCain told reporters traveling with him in New Jersey that was "a very disappointing response."
Yes, it is true that Barack Obama has offered to participate in only ONE Town Hall meeting since it will be during the 4th of July holiday when public attention will be low due to festivities, travel, etc.It is obvious that Barack Obama is avoiding this format since he can not think/speak on his feet. This is a result of his very far-left views which most of the general public does not agree with. He stutters relentlessly with his usual "err, um, I, uh" because his internal filter is working feverishly before he speaks. He tries to wordsmith his radical views (partial birth abortion support, illegal immigrant support) into something that SOUNDS more acceptable. This is proven by his many flip-flops on key issues...such as how he'd "deal" with Iran.
Obama has a limited understanding on most of the issues and has done very little as a politician. Obama is an excellent speaker, and can make even the most meaningless rhetoric sound believable. However, a Town Hall format, he knows, could be a disaster to the momentum and legitimacy of his campaign. - Hellnobama.com

HISTORY CHECK! The famous "Bloody Sunday" march over the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma, Alabama took place on March 7, 1965. Obama's parents "got together" around November, 1960 as he was born August 4, 1961.
May 08, 2007: (In a campaign speech), Obama said 10,000 people had died in a tornado that hit Greensburg, Kansas a few days earlier.
FACT CHECK! The death toll was 12.
May 09, 2008: (Beaverton, Oregon) Obama stated, "I have now been to 57 states with one left to go," then follows that the one is "Alaska and Hawaii."
GEOGRAPHY CHECK! PSSSST....Mr. Obama, there are 50 states.
May 13, 2008: (Cape Girardeau, Missouri) Obama claimed the war in Iraq was responsible for a shortage of interpreters in Afghanistan: "We only have a certain number of them and if they are all in Iraq, then it is harder for us to use them in Afghanistan." .
FACT CHECK! Iraqis speak Arabic or Kurdish. Afghans don't, speaking Pushtu, Dari, and various tribal languages
May 16, 2008: (in a press conference), he claimed, "When Kennedy met Khrushchev, we were on the brink of nuclear war." The two met in Vienna in June, 1961.
HISTORY CHECK! The Cuba Missile Crisis, which Obama claimed was resolved by the meeting, was in October 1962.
May 18, 2008: (in an interview to the Lexington (KY) Herald-Leader), in his excuse to explain the trouncing at the polls to Hillary Clinton in KENTUCKY, Obama stated: "I'm not very well known" in Kentucky compared to Hillary with her husband and "her coming from a nearby state of Arkansas."

Everyone knows that Barack Obama steals speeches (click here for proof). During his acceptance speech as the Democratic nominee on Tuesday, June 3rd, OF ALL TIMES, he plagiarizes a speech given by Mario Cuomo back in 1984! Though he can SPEAK well, he obviously can not speak his OWN WORDS.
Obama is not what he seems. His false speeches prove this. His supporters, however, will look past it. He, in truth, is the Chicago-style radical that his past voting history and acquaintances prove.
